Quality & Certifications

Every product is manufactured, inspected and marked against a named standard — and the certificate travels with the order.

Standards we build to

Named standards, per product line

The governing standard and safety factor for each item is printed on its own product page and on the datasheet supplied with the order. Nothing here is a blanket claim — check the individual product.

How we control it

Four checkpoints between steel and shipment

Material certification

Raw material is certified before it enters production. Carbon, alloy and stainless grades are segregated and traceable to heat number.

In-process inspection

Forging, heat treatment and machining are checked at each stage. Quenched and tempered components are hardness tested.

Proof-load testing

Product is proof-load tested to the multiple of working load limit required by its governing standard before release.

Batch traceability

Every item is permanently marked with working load limit, size, manufacturer identification and batch code.

Safety factors

Design factors vary by product type

There is no single safety factor across a rigging catalog, and any supplier quoting one number for everything is simplifying. Ours follow the governing standard for each product family.

6:1 — 7:1

Drop-forged shackles to ASME B30.26, and polyester round slings to ASME B30.9.

5:1

Steel wire rope to EN 12385-4.

4:1

Grade 80 chain, hooks, master links and webbing slings.

3:1

Plate and pipe lifting clamps, to EN 13155.

Per standard

Load binders and lashing to EN 12195-2 / -3.

Stated per item

Every product page carries its own figure — do not assume across categories.

Documentation

What ships with your order

Proof-load test certificate

Issued against the batch, stating the test load applied and the working load limit certified.

Material certificate

Confirming grade and heat number for the steel used in the batch.

Declaration of conformity

Stating the standard the product is manufactured and certified to.

Product marking

Working load limit, size, grade, manufacturer identification and batch code, permanently marked on the product itself.

Need certification in a specific format?
